John 3:16-21 —“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes on Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who has not believed is judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who practises the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 — “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”
There are two ultimate all-powerful kingdoms at work on this earth — the kingdom of God ruled by King Jesus and the kingdom of darkness ruled by Satan. These kingdoms are in conflict over the minds of the human race. We were all born into the darkness and remain there until we are challenged with the gospel of Jesus Christ at which time we can repent from serving Satan and bow our knee to King Jesus. When we do that our eyes become open open to see the kingdom of God and we are made supernaturally into a new creation in Christ. ( See my book “The Covenant Kingdom ).
Those who never hear the gospel and never come to know Jesus are still in the darkness and their minds are are blinded by Satan in order to keep them as his slaves. These people are the ones doing the evil deeds as they are prompted by the god of all evil. The sad thing is that these people will perish and spend eternity in hell unless somehow they are confronted with the gospel of Christ and a manifestion of His power which has been delegated to His Church. They need to see the light, not the darkness of the mob mentality. Prayer and the power of our words in agreement with God’s words can change the situation.
Think about it.
