Why Are We Thankful Today?

Life, as God designed it for you, is too valuable for you to waste on the ho-hum boring routine life most of us live.  God created you for success, for health, for joy, and for fulfillment in discovering your destiny in this life and the next.

You were fashioned after God’s likeness and image.  You are a person who has incredible potential.  You are a person that has faith built right into them.  It is simply a matter of learning how to use that faith to achieve God’s purpose for your life.

To surrender that hope is to live far below your potential, to deteriorate, to waste your God-given life.  You were made for success, not failure, or despair, or poverty, or sickness !

Believe me when I say that God is your greatest supporter in life.  He is cheering you on to become all that you can be in covenant with Him.

He created you to live in union with you through the new covenant and to be “in you” by His Holy Spirit. The purpose of God’s plan for your life is to transform you into being “as He is” so that you can reign in life through righteousness.

Living in God’s family as a new creation in Christ is about covenant, union, family, fellowship, love, restoration, and abundant life.  God has called me to teach His people who they are in His covenant kingdom and to reveal the heart of the Father to you and reveal your destiny in this life and for eternity.

GOD’S COVENANT LOVE FOR YOU IS MORE THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY COMPREHEND

HAVE A BLESSED AND THANKFUL THANKSGIVING FILLED WITH HIS PEACE AND JOY.

Why Is All This Evil Happening in Our World?

John 3:16-21“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes on Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.  He who believes in Him is not judged; he who has not believed is judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil.  For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.  But he who practises the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.”

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 — “And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

There are two ultimate all-powerful kingdoms at work on this earth —  the kingdom of God ruled by King Jesus and the kingdom of darkness ruled by Satan.  These kingdoms are in conflict over the minds of the human race.  We were all born into the darkness and remain there until we are challenged with the gospel of Jesus Christ at which time we can repent from serving Satan and bow our knee to King Jesus.  When we do that our eyes become open open to see the kingdom of God and we are made supernaturally into a new creation in Christ.  (  See my book “The Covenant Kingdom ).

Those who never hear the gospel and never come to know Jesus are still in the darkness and their minds are are blinded by Satan in order to keep them as his slaves.  These people are the ones doing the evil deeds as they are prompted by the god of all evil.  The sad thing is that these people will perish and spend eternity in hell unless somehow they are confronted with the gospel of Christ and a manifestion of His power which has been delegated to His Church.  They need to see the light, not the darkness of the mob mentality.  Prayer and the power of our words in agreement with God’s words can change the situation.

Think about it.

The Word For Today

“Angels harken to the voice of His word”– when you speak God’s word in agreement with Him you release His angels to bring that word to pass.

Are speaking about your problems, or the solution by agreeing with God’s words?

‘ALL THAT I HAVE IS YOURS’

Luke 15:31

31… ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.’

After running a few errands for his parents, a little boy went to his father and said, “I know why you and mom had me.” “Why?” asked his father. “So that you guys would have someone to run errands for you!” exclaimed the boy.

Like the little boy, do you see God as a Father who demands obedience and service from you? Have you ever felt that unless you obey Him and keep all His commandments, you don’t have a right to be blessed by Him?

Jesus shared the story of the prodigal son to show how some of us call God “Father” and yet don’t know His heart. There are two sons in this parable. We know what happened to the prodigal son, but we can also learn something about the older son. This is what he said to his father when he discovered that his father had thrown a party to celebrate the return of his irresponsible, spendthrift brother: “Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends.” (Luke 15:29)

Now, this son believed that his father had brought him into the world to serve him. He saw his father as someone issuing commandments to him all the time. And he saw himself as someone who had to obey those commandments to enjoy his inheritance. But the truth is that the father had already given him his inheritance. (Luke 15:12) The father even reminded him lovingly: “Son… all that I have is yours.” And I am sure that that inheritance included more than one goat!

Have you, like the older son, failed to understand your Father’s heart? Your heavenly Father already gave you a rich inheritance in Christ when you became His son. He wants you to know that you have received the Spirit of sonship. (Romans 8:15) So call out to Him, “Abba, Father!” and know how much He loves you. Because you are His heir, all that He has is yours to enjoy today!
