The Covenant Life Blog – A Blog About Living With Jesus Today

The greatest gift of grace given the Christian upon being born again is the Holy Spirit who was given to us to live within us as the Divine Enabler.  He no longer has to come “upon us” like under the Old Covenant. He now empowers us from within to live our life as a blood-covenant partner and co-laborer with Jesus to do the same works that Jesus did while He was on the earth.  This is the New Covenant. After all, He is the Head of the Body and we are His Body on this earth and have been co-missioned to do the same works He did and even greater works.  Scripture tells us in 1 JOHN 4:17 – “As He is, so are we in this world”.
