When Will We Stand Up and Be Counted For King Jesus?

Where are the preachers that have the guts to stand up and shout out God’s point of view on the horrors happening in this country?

I don’t want to win a popularity contest for being mild mannered. I want to declare “Thus says King Jesus” to our culture!!

GOD’S BLUEPRINT FOR CHURCH GROWTH

This is the Introduction of one of my books that can be purchased at Amazon.com.

INTRODUCTION

W hen we read the Book of Acts and we see what took place after the Holy Spirit was given on the Day of Pentecost the Church of today should bow our heads in shame.  On the very first day in the most hostile political and religious environment known to man at that time over three thousand people were brought into the kingdom of God.  Within a few short weeks after that thousands more were brought into God’s kingdom.  All of these people became the Church, the “ecclesia” or “called out ones”, and were assimilated into small groups, or cell congregations, all over the city and surrounding areas.  From those days forward in time in less than thirty years most of the known world had been penetrated with the “good news” that “the kingdom of God was at hand”.  The only means of transportation in those days was donkey, horse, small ships, and walking.  Yet because of their passion to obey their Lord and make Him known to the world they went everywhere with this news and everywhere they went they were used by their Lord to bring people out of the kingdom of darkness and help them to enter into the kingdom of God.  With such passion and zeal the world was being changed and Satan was fighting them every step of the way.  Thousands of these “Christians” were giving up their lives in order to be Ambassadors for Christ in a world of darkness filled with false gods, paganism, demonic religions, and religions controlled by the traditions of men.  This new Church that had been birthed on the Day of Pentecost was doing the same works that Jesus did when He was alive on this earth and this new Church was fulfilling the Great Commission that He had given them when He ascended from this earth and as a result many were being killed just like their Lord had been killed in order to silence Him.  Even with such tremendous persecution they kept persevering and were overcoming the attacks of the Devil.  The Scriptures tell us in Revelation 12:11 that “they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.”   This was the Church as it was originally birthed into this fallen world and what they were accomplishing for their Lord and God.  I think it would be very reasonable to think and believe that at the pace the kingdom of God was expanding and people were being birthed into it that the entire world would have easily been evangelized within the next one hundred years, but obviously something happened and it has now been over two thousand years and the Church still has not accomplished its divine mission on the Earth.  Why?  What has happened to this powerful living organism called the Church; the Body of Christ that was filled with the life and power of the living God?

I realize that there are some great things being done by the Church around the world, but these things are small and insignificant compared to what could and should be being done for the kingdom of God.  Can you imagine what would take place around the world if every person who calls themselves a Christian were to help one person this year enter the kingdom of God?  That would mean the Church that Jesus is building would double this year.  If we, the Church, were to do that every year can you see what could be accomplished to change our world and how quickly it could be done?  It would not take more than one generation to accomplish this task and bring Jesus back to this Earth.

The question we need to ask is “Why is this not being done?”  What would happen in your town or city if every congregation where to double this year?  Would it have an impact on your community?

The Holy Spirit has given us God’s blueprint for the design of His Church and how to accomplish the mission He has given it in the Scriptures.  It has been there for hundreds of years, but Satan has deceived the Church with religion and the traditions of men and caused it to become blind and lost in the darkness of this world.  The Church has become entangled in the affairs of and the ways of the world systems.  Listen to the warnings and admonitions of the apostles:

1 John 2:15-17 – “Love not the world (the kingdom of darkness), nor the things in the world.  If anyone loves the world (the kingdom of darkness) the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world (the kingdom of darkness), the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world (kingdom of darkness).  And the world (kingdom of darkness) is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever.”

2 Timothy 2:4 —  “No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who has enlisted him.”

2 Timothy 3:1-5 – But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.  For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious, gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power; avoid such men as these.”

2 Timothy 4:3-4“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths.”

This book is about God’s blueprint.   In the pages that follow I will endeavor to uncover and show you the plan that the Father had from the beginning and that Jesus came to this Earth to unfold and begin the process of bringing it to pass.  He specifically said that He came to do the will of the Father, to set the captives free, to destroy the works of the Devil, and to establish the kingdom of God on this Earth.  He then commissioned His Church to continue on with the works that He had started.

Twenty-five years ago in the year 1989 God gave me an acrostic for the word H.A.R.V.E.S.T. that became the very framework and foundation of the ministry that Jesus assigned me to proclaim.  I firmly believe this acrostic for HARVEST explains in detail the plan of God’s heart for His Church to reach the entire world for Him and retake dominion over the Earth as we work together to expand His kingdom reign.  After all, when Jesus gave us a model for how to pray it told us to pray this into existence on this Earth:

Matthew 6:9-10 —-

“Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done,

on Earth as it is in heaven.”

That prayer, friends, is our divine mission and the pages that follow will explain how to bring it to pass so that the Father may be glorified and the Lord Jesus may be exalted as the King of kings and the Lord of lords on this Earth just as He is in heaven.  Let us begin!
